The cooperation started\u00a0in 2006 when Mercer\u00a0acquired licences for the risk and LDI\u00a0tools of van Stuijvenberg Financial Services.\u00a0Together they further developed the tools and for the future the ongoing\u00a0development will play a key role.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the\u00a0last 11 years Mercer advised more than 40 pensionfunds with total\u00a0assets over \u20ac150 billion. Risk and LDI tools were essential in doing so. The ongoing development kept us up to par with the continuously changing environment. The continuation of this joint development\u00a0is an important part of the contract that was signed. To stress the structural relationship the contract has a maturity of 3 years with the intention to prolong.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A solid setup and an effective monitoring of the interest rate hedge is key for pensionfunds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the\u00a0prolonged cooperation\u00a0van Stuijvenberg Financial Services will be responsible for the ongoing development of tooling.\u00a0Van Stuijvenberg Financial Services will also support the\u00a0Mercer consultants.
